Erh, there aren't a WHOLE lot of favs, buuut, still. I know last time I had already a song planned, even in English, but I was recently reminded about another that I love more, however it's in Danish, and I'm not sure if I have used it before. But, let's see, shall we?
I'm sorry for choosing another Danish song, though OTL
But I just kinda like it, maybe for nostalgia reasons*, the sad thing about this, though, is that "Om lidt", which means "in a moment" is so much shorter than "in a moment" and thus the English doesn't work that well translated
- So many buts... :/
"In a moment, here'll be quiet
In a moment, it'll be over
Did you see what you wanted?
Did you hear your melody?
Abandoned and alone
The circus princess is dancing around
Comes to a halt
(pause)
On her tightrope
In a senseless second
In a moment, in a moment
We will be gone
We may see eachother again
In a moment, here'll be quiet
In a moment, it'll be over
Did you see what you wanted?
Did you hear your melody?
In a moment, in a moment
We will be gone
We may see eachother again
In a moment, in a moment
We will be gone
We may see eachother again
Dudi dudi duu..."

I hope you caught it in the translated version, but it's kinda about death? Or, to me it feels like that. Yet, I don't know where the circus princess comes into the picture; Walking on a fine line between life and death? I think I'm over-analyzing
I think it's kinda haunting, and I wanted to share that.
I feel like you should start showing me Finnish songs
*By "nostalgia reasons" I meant that this song is what we sing when we graduate 9th grade and leave "ground school", or what to call it, - the place we've spent 10 years of our lives on. Sort of emotional, you know.
